Hello =-)

Hey guys!! How ARE YOU???!!!!!

First, let me apologize for falling off the face of the earth with out giving any updates in over 2 months. I am sorry......do you forgive me?? :o) I hope you will.

I have scaled down my computer time drastically to say the least. I have gone from logging on 5/6 times A DAY!!.....to 5/6 times a week....yes, a week. I was COMPLETELY addicted to blogging AND my computer. I loved it!! Still do....but, like I said in my last update....I have focused on more important things in my life...like God and my family. Life is GOOD!

Ok....I'm going to play catch up with you.

--Things are going great for us. We recently enjoyed a weekend getaway with friends up in the mountains of North Carolina in a beautiful 3 story/4 bedroom cabin. It was incredible. We had an amazing time and got some much needed relaxation.

--I LOVE my job...I've been there for over 2 months now. I am so blessed to work in the same building with my kids. I take them to school with me in the morning.....then I'm home 2 hours before they get home to get my "chores" finished along with having supper ready when they get home.
I have gotten so attached to the children that I work with. I really feel like I'm making a difference in their lives.....they have made a difference in mine too.

--We have been in full swing with Charger football since the last week of July. Jarrett has enjoyed it soooo much. This is his 2nd year and he has made some lifelong friendships with his teammates. We have met so many wonderful families. It's been great. He has improved even more in his skills since last year.....his strength and aggression....he is definitely growing up. We are so proud of him! Win or lose ;-)
Football for us is almost over. Next, comes basketball. This year not only will Jarrett be playing, but also Blake. We can't wait!!!! It's going to be so much fun to see them both out on the court!!!

--Blake is very content with school now. Mommy and Daddy are VERY VERY glad. It was rough for a few weeks.......probably up until I started working there ;-). He has made lots of new friends which helps tremendously also. He likes his teachers and he too has grown up a lot. Blake has always been a little "spitfire" to say the least!! He's given me a few gray hairs in the past 4 years.....he's made Michael's just fall out....ha..ha..ha. We love our little Blake so much. We are looking forward to seeing the young man that he becomes.

--I began physical therapy last week on my knee. I was sore....very sore....after my first session. My therapist said that I have considerable weakness in my right knee and hip. It's going to take a while to get back to the point I can run again.....but, I am going to get there!! I am determined!!!!!!! I haven't gotten to workout since May.....which stinks!! I can't wait to get back into the groove again. I miss it SOOOO much!!!

We were out of school today for Election Day. I voted last week....we have early voting in TN. I still had to stand in line for 40 minutes....it was so worth it though. I would have stood in line for 2 hours. It's such a privilege to vote. I hope you have. We need to be much in prayer for our nation.

Yes...this was short and sweet....I know. I miss you and hope you all are doing well.
